I had the messages too. There was a mix up with the file names being the same, blah blah, anyway, I found this website provided a kind of 'pre-SP3' file to help the problem. After I did this I didn't get either of those messages anymore.Just follow the directions on this site: http://glowicki.pl/1...pack-3-install/Hope this works. 0 Back to Windows XP, 2000, 2003, NT · Next Unread Topic → Similar Topics 3 user(s) are reading this topic 0 members, 3 guests, 0 anonymous users Reply to quoted postsClear Geeks to Go Forum → Operating Systems → Windows XP, 2000, 2003, NT As Featured On: Geeks to Go Blog Community S

AMSince upgrading my Acer laptop (Travelmate 2300) to XP SP3, I cannot use the Dlink utility. I receive the following error: 'The procedure entry point apsGetInterfaceCount could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll' I have removed and re-installed the drivers/software, but no improvement. Web search suggests compatibility problem with Dlink driver/dll. Whilst I still have wireless connectivity, the Dlink utilities do not work. It seems this is an SP3 issue - other users report the issue is resolved if they revert back to SP2. There must be a better resolution! Barb Bowman05-06-08, 06:29 AMeither use Windows native WZC features to manage the wireless (uninstall the utility and keep the wireless) or contact D-Link support/search their downloads for a fixed version.
