D-Link. The main function of the airpluscfg.exe process is to provide additional configuration options for these devices. By default, you will find this file in a subfolder of C:\Program Files. The most common size of the airpluscfg.exe file is 987,136 bytes. Other known sizes of this file are 1,011,712, 2,502,656, 2,490,368, 1,347,584, and 1,662,976 bytes. By default, the airpluscfg.exe file loads automatically when you start your computer. Airpluscfg.exe entry point not found error After you install Windows XP SP3 (Service Pack 3), you may receive the following error every time you start your computer: “The procedure entry point apsSearchInterface could not http://www.techsupportforum.com/forums/f10/solved-boot-up-error-msg-re-apsgetready-253581.html be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll.” Cause Of The Error The above problem occurs because the wlanapi.dll file associated with D-Link network adapter is replaced by the wlanapi.dll file that Windows XP Service Pack 3 introduces. The wlanapi.dll file that is introduced by XP SP3 is installed in the %Windows%\System32 folder. Device driver installation of certain third-party programs, such as D-Link also installs a http://www.exe-error-fixes.com/solution-airpluscfgexe-entry-point-error/ file named, wlanapi.dll in the %Windows%\System32 folder. If D-Link network adapter file is installed in %Windows%\System32 folder before you upgrade your PC to Windows XP SP3, the wlanapi.dll file belonging to D-Link network adapter is replaced by the wlanapi.dll file that Windows XP SP3 introduces. Note: %Windows% is a variable and refers to the drive on which Windows is installed. By default, it is C:\Windows. Solution To rectify the airpluscfg.exe entry point error, download and install the latest device drivers for your wireless network adapter from D-Link website. Alternatively, after installing Windows Service Pack 3, run a reliable, driver scanner tool, such as Driver Detecive to look for latest device drivers for your wireless network adapter. Another workaround to this problem is to disable the airpluscfg.exe process at system startup. To achieve this, perform the steps given below: On the Start menu, click Run. Next, in the Open box, type the msconfig command, and click the OK button. In the System Configuration Utility dialog box that is displayed, open the Startup tab. Here, clear the checkbox before airpluscfg.exe. Next, click Apply and then click OK to save your changes and exit the System Confi
