This does not help. The machine still displays Error #1200. The print cartridges are not in view, so therefore cannot be replaced. However, that is probably not the problem since the belts cannot be moved more than one inch. Stop/Clear button causes the machine to try to move the cartridges but nothing much happens. What I did was remove the http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/42462 shell from the black base, cleaned the goop from under the ink cartridges, put silicon on the bars after cleaning with alcahol, greased the gears sparingly, put it back together, it works. There are eight black and one shinny screw that need tobe removed, also a white bar with a violet gismo, pull that up to remove, and the paper guides. Live long and prosper and sleep well.
