I searched this forum and found some similar problems but they are not exactly the same. My case is too complicated, so I made a new post.I have a HTC desire. Yesterday, it popped up a new update and I clickek OK. I guess that I updated my desire to froyo and then found that my wifi can't work. Before that, my wifi could work. When I clicked "turn on wifi", It always said "Error".I also checked "hardware information", WIFI and bluetooth MAC address were not available. At that time, software information isAndroid version: 2.2Baseband version: 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.20Kernel version: …. Wefi. I download Wefi and tried to turn on my wifi. Failed.1b. Try Unrevoked3 and update rom. I download Unrevoked3 and get the recovery. The version is v.2.5.0.7 and then I can use recovery to flash update.zip in sdcard. I tried the original 2.1 ROM but wifi couldn't work, either. I rebooted HTC desire and checked the software information. Nothing changed.I am not sure what changed after my reflash using unrevoked3. It seems that it only changed the recovery functions.1c. Since someone said that the wifi error was due to that my HBOOT and RADIO wasn't updated. I tried #25 to fix this problem and disaster started.Because I had no goldcard, I made a goldcard following the below link for Mac OS.http://www.mikesouthby.co.uk/2010/08/htc-desire-creating-goldcard-using-mac-or-linux/After I got a goldcard, I download update from the
