there for latest acrobat version too.When you open the PDF in Acrobat Reader and then when you scroll it and if you have more that one page in the PDF, it gives an error saying "There was a problem reading this document (135)".Is this a known issue in Acobat? help from the community. error message 135, cannot read Recently acquired Acrobat XI that came with adobe acrobat pro error 135 a scanner. Previously had version 9 and no problems with it. Several acrobat docs sent to me by email. Out of the 4 docs, the one that https://forums.adobe.com/thread/997803 was previously printed out, scanned and converted to acrobat, no problem. The other 3 which are originals, when I open the file and attempt to scroll thru it, get error message 135-- cannot read document. This prevents saving the document or doing anything else with it other than seeing it on the screen. I found https://answers.acrobatusers.com/error-message-135-cannot-read-q210487.aspx a suggestion on the forum, but cannot find the parameters that should be changed. Downloaded Soda PDF and it does not have any problem with the files. Also someone else did not have any problem with it. Don't know what version they used but probably an older one. Yes, but the problem is that I do not have a fax machine (sorry for the confusion). I want to edit the PDF (using the typewriter tool, inserting images, etc), save as PDF and then send the PDF file as attrachment by e-mail. Any way to do that? If Not, no.
