windows installer cleaner, ive got the most current windows updates, etc etc...everything suggested by the ipod support page, the installshield support page, and almost everything anyone's suggested in these forums. except....while trying to manually edit my registry, i try to go via the ms-dos prompt (by clickin 'start', then 'run', then typing 'cmd'. it loads the error 1406 setup cannot write the value assembly dos prompt but then i get an error message reading ---------------------------16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem---------------------------C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.comC:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications.
