Solved Windows Cluster Groups Management Posted on 2007-06-23 OS Security MS DOS Windows Server 2003 1 Verified Solution 6 Comments 2,824 Views Last Modified: 2013-12-04 I am trying to find a way to remotely administer cluster management within my network. I am writing a program which will remotely reboot a machine within my network, but prior to the shutdown I need a way to switch any cluster groups using the machine I am closing to be switched to another online group. Once the machine reboots I would also like to return the cluster nodes setup to the state it was at before my program was called. I can use DOS or VBS to acheive this, but the solution must be remote. I am playing around with psexec to acheive this but currently have not found a way. 0 Question by:Benjamin297 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 82 Active today Best Solution byoBdA You can do that with cluster.exe (http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/62513114-6281-4119-8a65-6463be5646a61033.mspx?mfr=true). But I'm not so sure it's a good idea to forcefully move the resources back after the reboot; it would probably be better to do an automatic failback in this case, as the cluster knows better what's going on than what you can achieve with batch scripting. What exactly are you rying to do? 0 LVL 1 Overall: Level 1 Message Author Comment by:Benjamin2972007-06-25 Im trying to use cluster.exe to re
