If this is keeps occuring I suggest you get your network support involved. If #2 I definitely suggest you get your network support involved to resolve the root cause of the issue. contrari4n Starting Member United Kingdom 27 Posts Posted-07/04/2008: 17:12:37 I have also had this issu

Login failed for user ”. The user is not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. [CLIENT: xxxxxx] We have two domains let's say A and B. My SQL Server is running in domain B. In a normal scenario, both domain users are able to connect. But few days ago, all the users from domain A were unable to connect to SQL Server running in domain B. However domain B users were able to connect it successfully. Users approached SQL Server DBA team to look into the issue. When I checked, even I was unable to connect to SQL Server remotely using SSMS and using credentials of domain A. However when I tried to RDP the server using domain A's credential it was working fine and there after remote access to SQL server also started working fine. So it looked to me like when I RDPed the server something got refreshed and my login re

There were various messages listed out on forums, etc., but for me we found that the error was originating because we have DNS issues and Domain Controllers (DC) was unreachable due to a network switch configuration problem. So if you see these errors, you may see in the EventLog a NetLogon error relating to not being able to reach a domain controller to login, and you will get the error below because the DC is the one that hands the Kerberos token to the process for use in SSPI related activities. Reply dbaduck says: August 1, 2008 at 10:24 Yes, the issue was that the DNS Server was down or misrouted and the Cluster could not find the Domain Controller. Once we reestablished connectivity to the Domain Control
