Ashampoo is the better of the two you listed so that is what I'd suggest you use unless you don't like it for some reason. Also, when enabling/disabling a firewall always follow that with a reboot or in some cases your action will not be "active". Microsoft has been aware of this office 2010 error 1935 windows 10 issue for over a year, but has been unable to fix it fully. The crippling error, ensuing tech support run around, (literally) days of wasted time, and final solution of being forced to reinstall Windows left http://www.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=113563 me feeling like the star of one of those obnoxious "Get a Mac" commercials.(Source: Apple) Only current fix is a complete reinstall of Windows 7 Over the last two weeks I've been struggling with a very odd problem. I had purchased a copy of Microsoft Office 2010 Professionalfrom Microsoft Corp. I wanted to include this browser's test results in my roundup of recent browsers. But I would discover something quite different -- a bug in Windows itself. I persistently received an error that it was missing necessary updates and could not install. I tried running Windows update several times manually, to no avail. I read several Knowledge Base and forum posts, but ultimately wasn't able to diagnose or fix the issue. At the time I was very busy and I had the Windows Update process set to automatic, so I decided to stop wasting time on the issue and wait for Microsoft to push down a fix. In retrospect I probably should have posted to Microsoft Answers or called support, but again these things take time and having a working Internet Explorer 9 was a relatively secondary concern to me. The problem would reappear this month when I purchased

An AVG setup error message may display such as: 0xC0070634 or General internal error. The fix for this AVG general error is to remove the failed installation using the AVG Remover. Reboot the computer when AVG has been removed and then download the latest setup file for AVG. Note that it is important to download the correct AVG setup file. If you are installing a licensed or paid version of error 1935 AVG, check the e-mail you received from AVG sales for the download link. If you lost the e-mail message from AVG, simply download from the AVG website and click the “Paid version" download link instead of the “Trial version." Only choose the “Trial version" download if you don’t have an AVG license key.
