Then allow your swf. http://docs.fusioncharts.com/widgets/Tools/FlashPlayerSecuritySetup/HowToSetup.html Posted 2 years ago # henke37 Wise OwlJoined: Jun http://forum.starling-framework.org/topic/securityerror-error-2148-only-local-with-filesystem-and-trusted-local-swf '13Posts: 944 henke37 Wise OwlJoined: Jun '13Posts: 944 Or, just fix the publish settings to set the correct flag. Or load the file over http and make the entire issue a moot issue. Most people want networking. You can't have both, and that's the point. Or as I mentioned, just serve the file over http and forget about the issue. Adobe's Flash or Flex error SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file? The solution is…. This a dumb out of the box assumption from Adobe's Flash or Flex Builder. You get this when you run your source: ActionScript Error #2148: SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file file:///C:/Documents and Settings/UserProfile/Desktop/flexstore/bin-release/flexstore.swf cannot access local resource myFile.swf. Only local-with-filesystem and trusted local SWF files may access local resources. Got to love that one Adobe. Anyhow here is a solution that seems to work: I just had to figure out where to add the extra property ‘-use-network=false’. In Flex 3, it’s in Project/Properties/Flex Compiler/Additional Compiler argument. After the adding, the text field contains : -locale en_US -use-network=false No need to separate the extra properties with a semicolon as I did at first. NOTE I now post my TRADING ALERTS into my personal FACEBOOK ACCOUNT and TWITTER. Don't worry as I don't post stupid cat videos or what I eat!Share this:EmailLinkedInFacebookRedditPrintTwitterGoogle Misc Adobe, error, file, Flash, Flex, Security, solution, SWF permalink About caustic Hi i there My name is Bryan Downing.
