i cant work out whats wrong. I'm using Dreamweaver CS4 along with Flash CS4 after i've added the swf (in the root folder i have the .fla file, the .swf file and the flvplayback skin) but i keep getting the 'SecurityError: Error #2148' error message. Im confused because when i test the published html file from flash, it works great, same when i double click the .swf, works great but testing the actionscript error 2148 page from Dreamweaver i get the error message. What does this mean and how can i solve this? Thanks for your help. I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 26595Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 16 replies 1. where the flash plug-in is stored. For security reasons, the flash player usually has access to only one folder on your computer where the “.swf” file and other related files are stored. This is the folder, which may contain the html and graphics as well. Action: Using Adobe’s online “Global Security Settings Manager” tool on their official website set the permissions. On the panel, select the tab with the lock Click on the “Edit locations...” drop down box Select “Add location” Solution Select “Browse for folder” and navigate to the folder on your PC, which contains the “.swf” and relevant project files.
