(BTW, it did load and work in the Beta error 2711 an internal error has occurred exceladdinpowermapfiles version, soI am not sure what has changed).1. It is not office 2013 error 2711 exceladdinpowermapfiles in the disabled list but it is in the Inactive ApplicationAdd-Ins list.2. The first time I try to office error 2711 exceladdinpowermapfiles "check the box" in the "Add-Ins available" list, the Windows Installer starts but errors out with this exact syntax:"Error 2711.An internal error has occurred. "check the box" again, the load behavior says "Not loaded. Aruntime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in." Again, thisworks fine in Outlook 2003.4. Then I tried to Regsvr32 a copy of CDO.dll that I copied from a systemwith XP and Outlook 2003 and received an error "To register a module, youmust provide a binary file name". I did run as adminsitrator.5. From a search recommendation, I tried to install ExchangeCDO.MSI but thatdid not help. The same behavior occurs.url:http://www.ureader.com/gp/1103-1.aspx Ken Slovak - [MVP - Outlook] 2009-02-09 14:01:51 UTC PermalinkRaw Message Each version of CDO is specific to its version of Outlook, so a version forOutlook 2003 won't work with Outlook 2007. You do need to download andinstall CDO 1.21 for Outlook 2007 from MS. Doing so should allow your addinto work. Why use CDO anyway? It's deprecated and the client version you use withOutlook has all the security at its worst. What I do when I don't useRedemption (www.dimastr.com/redemption) to handle things is to check forOutlook version and if it's 12 (Outlook 2007) I use late binding with theOutlook 2007 methods and properties such as PropertyAccessor that let medispense with CDO completely.--Ken Slovak[MVP - Outlook]http://www.slovaktech.comAuthor: Professional Programming Outlook 2007.Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options.http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htmPost by aruna ptI have an Outlook Add-In written in VB 6 accessing CDO.dll that works fineinOutlook 2003. on September 6, 2015 by chanmingman This short article shows you one possible way to resolve the error “Error 2711. An internal error has occurred. (ExcelAddInPowerMapFiles)” when you are installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. When I was installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus https://chanmingman.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/error-2711-an-internal-error-has-occurred-exceladdinpowermapfiles/ 2013, the installation gave me the error screen below with the error message “Error 2711. An internal error has occurred. (ExcelAddInPowerMapFiles)”. I proceed to Uninstall or change a program in Control Panel. I realized there are 2 program related to Office 2013. 1. Lync add-in. 2. SharePoint Designer 2013. I uninstalled the SharePoint Designer 2013 then uninstalled Lync add-in. I then re-installed again Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. I did not get the error error 2711 anymore. So the error is not really what it means because there is nothing to do with Excel. Like this:Like Loading...
