on September 6, 2015 by chanmingman This short article shows you one possible way to resolve the error “Error 2711. An internal error has occurred. https://chanmingman.wordpress.com/2015/09/06/error-2711-an-internal-error-has-occurred-exceladdinpowermapfiles/ (ExcelAddInPowerMapFiles)” when you are installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. When I http://www.chicagotech.net/winissues/internalerror2711.htm was installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, the installation gave me the error screen below with the error message “Error 2711. An internal error has occurred. (ExcelAddInPowerMapFiles)”. I proceed to Uninstall or change a program in Control Panel. I realized there are 2 program related error 2711 to Office 2013. 1. Lync add-in. 2. SharePoint Designer 2013. I uninstalled the SharePoint Designer 2013 then uninstalled Lync add-in. I then re-installed again Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013. I did not get the error anymore. So the error is not really what it means because there is nothing to do with Excel. Like this:Like Loading...
