running windows vista home premium on my pc but I've had too many problems microsoft fix it error code 2738 getting spss work run smoothly. I've tried to uninstall but each time the error message "internal error 2738" pops up, and the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package 2738 the operation terminates. I've had to resatart my pc several times but I can't find a solution to the problem. Can anyone help please? You should be able to fix it it running the command regsvr32 vbscript.dll from a command prompt. When trying to uninstall, I'm getting an internal error 2738. I have tried to internal error 2738 register the vbscript dll using regsvr32 vbscript.dll, but that also did not resolve the problem. I ran the command prompt as an administrator. P.S: I did see another post with the same question but found no answer. Apparently, the problem was not with the vbscript.dll not registered. The issue was with the vbscript dll being registered as a User instead of the machine. When the dll is registered as a normal user, it is registered under the USER in the registry settings. Removing the registration using the following command resolved the problem and I was able to uninstall Biz Talk. Command: "reg delete "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID{B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-0
