and followed through with support advice for timed out downloads by deleting the download under my documents/my music/itunes/itunes music/downloads/ then delete the download file appropriately labeled that's giving the problem ending in .tmp multiple times and hasn't fixed the promblem. Always freezes up when hits 1mb of download material. Any advice? And do you need any more info from me? I have highspeed cable internet connection. I don't know if it's a bug in the version of iTunes that we are using or what. But I have DSL and this is the first time that I've ever gotten such an error message before. You might want to try downloading it later though. What I did was logged out of iTunes, then when I logged back in I went to check for purchases and it started downloading.
