If you data speeds are on the slow that could be causing it. Try a faster data service. I was using a broadband connection of 4megs download load and only 500mb upload. However, using a friends much faster connection of uploads over 2megs it worked fine. Not saying this is the only cure but has worked for me.Jules Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by itunes error 4002 pkdick67, pkdick67 Oct 7, 2012 12:37 PM in response to samletuk Level 1 (10 points) Oct 7, 2012 12:37 PM in response to samletuk It may be right but if so, provided that I have the same Internet speed as before, why now it.s not working as it used to ? The new version of iTunes either takes forever, constantly restarts, or gives me an error message. If your speeds haven't changed then I say it's a buggy version of iTunes, which considering the problems with the iPhone 5 and the iTunes Match service on iOS 6, it's extremely possible. My problem is, I'm trying to install an automotive software on my home computer, i currently have an older version of it on here now, it works great. I try to install the 1st Quarter 2006 and get it all loaded ( normal ), when i click to open it i get a box that says windows will close this application ( Fatal Error 4002 ) comes up. I emailed another guy that sells this stuff ( Alldata ) and he tells me that my HASP drivers need to be updated. Are there Hasp drivers on every computer? He told me to go to Aladin's web site for the hasp updates. Any help would be appreciated. Sellcars sellcars, Aug 1, 2006 #1 Sparrow Joined: Nov 2, 2002 Messages: 134 Apparently it has to do with "Aladdin" security software, don't know how that would relate to the software your speaking of. Below are links for drivers. (I don't think I would be too quick to install them though). You might try contacting the automotive software makers for information. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4002: Invalid library directory format (Fatal) Explanation: CA-Clipper/Exospace cannot read your library.
