Been having issues trying to get my music onto my new iphone 5. Really silly that I can't just sync from my computer if I have match enabled. Making me seriously question paying for another year of match. Try turning off Genius from Store -> Turn off Genius. If that doesn't resolve your issue, if Genius is not on, or if it's too important to turn off, post more info about your system and we'll try to help. share|improve this answer answered Apr 5 '12 at 14:47 zwerdlds 1,589516 I've turned off Genius but the problem persists. –timothymh Apr 15 '12 at 22:34 I'm running the latest iTunes (10.6.1) on a late 2009 MBP. I'm on OS 10.7.3 and I'm logged in to the iTunes Store with my Apple ID. There's no Genius restrictions in iTunes preferences. –timothymh Apr 15 '12 at 22:35 add a comment| up vote 0 dow

- using an XPathcounter → iTunes Match Error4002 Posted: February 7, 2012 | Author: Casper | Filed under: apple | Tags: 4002, apple, Genius, iTunes, Match |1 Comment So I ran into this very not fun thing with iTunes Match where no matter what I would do it, would throw ‘Error 4002' at me. After some digging around I found some information where people pointed in the direction of iTunes Genius (don't ask), and then looking around a bit I found an option to turn off iTunes Genius (Store -> Turn Off Genius), you might have to turn off iTunes Match first. But after turning off iTunes Genius, I was able to turn iTunes Match on again, and it did update correctly. How I just love complicates undocumented error codes, which does not make any sense.
