Click the "Map Special Subject" drop-down menu and select "All Authenticated in Trusted Realms". Restart the proxy. Solution: Login to WebSphere Stop the application server (MXServer in my case) Go to Applications >> WebSphere enterprise applications Click on your application (MAXIMO in my error 403 case) Click on Security role to user/group mapping Check the checkbox for Role - maximouser (in my case) Select the value as All Authenticated in Application's Realm from the Map special Subjects drop down menu Restart the Application Server It any of the should work now.
