Hi all, I managed to setup IIS ISAPI redirect successfully to feed a Geoserver wms to IIS web application. I used the configuration guide below to do the set up; http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc-archive/jk2/jk/iishowto.html http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/reference/iis.html http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-3.3-doc/tomcat-iis-howto.html My system setup is Windows 2003 Server, IIS 6.0, Tomcat 6.0 and the Connector version is 1.2.31. Everything was working successfully and tested it for almost 2days. https://forums.iis.net/t/next/1161924 But all of a sudden the application went down with the following error message: Service Temporary Unavailable! The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later. Jakarta/ISAPI/isapi_redirector/1.2.31 (1026297) I changed the application pool to a different one and I https://qnalist.com/questions/856470/http-error-403-forbidden-access-is-denied-iis6-tomcat-6-0-connector am getting the error message "You are not authorized to view this page. HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. " The error below is from ISAPI_Redirect.log; [Mon Nov 08 12:04:17.363 2010] [4604:3188] [info] init_jk::jk_isapi_plugin.c (2562): Starting Jakarta/ISAPI/isapi_redirector/1.2.31 (1026297)[Mon Nov 08 12:04:17.379 2010] [4604:3188] [warn] jk_map_handle_duplicates::jk_map.c (446): Duplicate key '/geoserver/*' detected - previous value 'worker1' will be overwritten with 'worker1;fail_on_status=3D-404,-500,503'.[Mon Nov 08 12:04:17.379 2010] [4604:3188] [warn] jk_map_handle_duplicates::jk_map.c (446): Duplicate key '/geoserver/*' detected - previous value 'worker1;fail_on_status=3D-404,-500,503' will be overwritten with 'worker1;use_server_errors=3D400'.[Mon Nov 08 12:04:17.410 2010] [4604:3188] [warn] jk_map_handle_duplicates::jk_map.c (446): Duplicate key '/geoserver/*' detected - previous value 'worker1;use_server_errors=3D400' will be overwritten with 'worker1;use_server_errors=3D500'.[Mon Nov 08 12:04:17.441 2010] [4604:3188] [error] ajp_validate::jk_ajp_common.c (2622): worker worker1 can't resolve tomcat address www.map.hackney.gov.uk:8080[Mon Nov 08 12:04:19.722 2010] [4604:3188] [error] ajp_validate::jk_ajp_common.c (2622): worker worker2 can't resolve tomcat address otherhost[Mon Nov 08 12:04:19.738 2010] [4604:3188] [error] uri_worker_map_ext::jk_uri_worker_map.c (506): Could not find worker with name '

It works on everyone else's machine, however when I try and access localhost/extranet on my machine, it gives me error 403 forbidden this error: HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden Detail Error Info: Module DirectoryListingModule Notification ExecuteRequestHandler Handler 0x00000000 Requested URL http://localhost:80/extranet/ Physical Path C:\svn\K2\trunk\appteam\web\Chatham.Web.UI.Extranet\ Logon Method Anonymous Logon User Anonymous Now I tried going into IIS7, and enabling directory browsing, this removed the error, but still didn't bring up my website. I also tried going in and disabling the default document, re-enabling it, everything, nothing worked. I've also restarted IIS a few times to no avail. Any ideas? asp.net .net asp.net-mvc windows-7 iis-7 share|improve this question asked Oct 24 '11 at 19:28 slandau 10.3k2791162 Can you access even a plain HTML document on the site through your browser? –Hector Correa Oct 24 '11 at 19:32 1 You probably just need to give the AppPool user for your website access to that directory. Generally, the AppPool account only has access to \inetpub\MyWebApplication. –scottm Oct 24 '11 at 19:33 @HectorCorrea, I haven't tried, as ISAPI is supposed to redirect to the correct page. –slandau Oct 24 '11 at 19:3
