You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. I believe this address was redirecting to https://remote.domainname.com/remote When I add /remote at the end of the http://www.pixelchef.net/remote-web-workplace-error-403-forbidden url, I’m able to login and use the page, but all of the images are missing. I checked the physical path and the images are present. I’ve recently removed and reinstalled SharePoint on our SBS 2008 server according to the following instructions. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd548327(WS.10).aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd560621(WS.10).aspx Everything seemed to be working except the Internal Web site was reporting offline under Windows SBS Console > https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/5e0bb86e-1022-4d4b-80f2-05e5f82e2c6d/2008-remote-web-workplace-forbidden-access-and-images-missing?forum=smallbusinessserver Shared Folders and Websites > Websites. I noticed that the application pool was sharepoint – 80 not SBS Sharepoint AppPool. I remove the sharepoint site and recreated it using SBS Sharepoint AppPool, restarted IIS, and Internal Web site changed to online. But now, SBS Web Applications/Remote Web Workplace stopped working properly. Thanks in advance for any help. Sincerely, Raymond Edited by skeltonr Monday, February 07, 2011 9:08 PM Title change Monday, February 07, 2011 9:06 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote I figured it out! Somehow, the Application Pools/Managed Pipeline Mode what set to Classic instead of Integrated. I set "SBS Web Workplace AppPool" to Integrated and theredirectionand images started to work. 2006. Joe Thompson Guest Hello- I've followed the directions on a zillion websites to no avail... Environment: SBS 2003 Premium server, I did not install ISA Situation: All web functions are http://www.winvistatips.com/threads/error-403-accessing-rww-owa-and-companyweb-fine.629685/ operating except the connection to http://servername/remote servername/exchange opens OWA up just fine from internal or external calls via localhost or external IP; companyweb works fine The error opening up RWW is 403 - forbidden: You are not authorized to view this page You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied. HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden Internet Explorer The certificate works fine for error 403 OWA, so it can't be that. I've checked permissions on all the directories and users and everything is normal. Note: I even get the forbidden message from expanding ISS, opening the web sites, default web site, right-clicking on remote and doing a "Browse". Can you help? What am I missing?
