without any problem,but now I have a problem in which users can submit the form to the form library,but when they trying to open the submitted form it gives the following error : There has been an error while processing the form. Click Continue to resume filling out the form. You may want to check your form data for errors. Click Start Over to load a new copy of the form. Show error details An error occurred accessing a data source. An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server. Log ID:5566

Sign in to vote Hi All, I have setup a new Sharepoint 2013 Server running on 2008 R2. an error occurred while trying to connect to a web service. infopath 2013 I am trying to create online forms for our school district so users can access them from the web. My problem is when the browser based form opens it http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/7676.aspx gives me a 5566 error. When I check the server logs I find that the call was made but failed due to an unauthorized operation: When I work on this form in my office and preview it using InfoPath everything works great but when published and accessed from browser I get this error. Things I have done: 1 disabled loopback and ensured Anonymous access was disable both on the web app in CA and in IIS 7 2 made the form an approved from and managed in Central administration 3 Created a UDC file and loaded onto Sharepoint 4 created a trusted application ID and added to a secure store service. 5 hard coded the previous UDC to reference the new target application ID 6 hard coded the UDC (for trial only) with a domain admin user account Nothing seems to work. I am thinking that as the form opens it is using the default IUSR account to query the data connection and that is where it is failing but I don't understand why it would do this since user must authenticate before access the share

This is not as simple when the Web Application is configured using Claims Based Authentication as in SharePoint 2010 or 2013. I blogged this topic before on a different forum, but I thought I did not error 5566 include enough explanation on how to resolve the issue. So, this time I will include step-by-step instructions. Let’s get started. 1. in SharePoint 2013InfoPath GetUserProfilebyName Web Service: Classic-Mode to Claims-Based Authentication in SharePoint 2013 ■SharePointby Gene Olsen - Aug 18, 20143 12625 While working on a migration from SharePoint 2010 to 2013, we recently came across an interesting InfoPath issue. When migrating from a classic-mode SharePoint 2010 web application to a claims-based 2013 web application, if InfoPath is using SharePoint’s GetUserProfilebyName web service, users will receive error 5566 (shown below) when trying to open a form. SharePoint 2013 uses claims-based authentication by default, and cannot understand the authentication of the account when querying the GetUserProfilebyName web service. However, there is a fix: You will need an Active Directory account created for Secure Store Target Application. It can be something as easy as Domain\SP13_InfoPath or Domain\SP13_IP. Assuming you have a key generated (if not, see this Technet article), create a new Target Application. Target Application Name: Example: GetUserProfilebyNameQuery and remember this name - we will be using it in future steps. Add as GROUP target application type, and make sure you add for members (All Users). Click OK, and open the drop down of your new target application and select SET CREDENTIALS. Enter in your new AD username and password that you just created (Domain\SP13_IP). Next, go into the site collection and create a Data Connection Library to store the .udcx file you will create in the next step. At this point, you need to create the data connection file (.udcx). Go back to the InfoPath form and select Manage Data Connections. Select your secondary data connection GetUserProfilebyName, and select Convert to Connection File. Browse to your new data connection library path. Connection link type: Choose Relative to site collection (recommended). You can create this centrally via Central Admin, but this example will be local. Select OK. This creates and stores a new .udcx file to your data connection library.
