Solved VPN Error 633 Posted on 2010-08-02 Windows 7 Windows Networking 1 Verified Solution 9 Comments 2,522 Views 1 Ratings Last Modified: 2012-05-10 Here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_web/vpn-error-633/81a727c8-1813-4bda-8e96-47c31e2590c9 is one I don't know how to fix, and haven't been able to find and answer for via google. I have a VPN server that our users connect to. We've been slowly upgrading to windows 7, and on certain new builds (with NOTHING changing...), users get VPN Error 633 (Modem in use or not configured..). Ok...there is no modem. I selected "Use my Internet Connection" https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/26374500/VPN-Error-633.html for VPN, and still no go. I've reinstalled the wan mini-ports, etc. So far the only fix has been a complete rebuild of the system. Thoughts? 1 Question by:raithedavion Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byraithedavion Apparently the problem is caused by our phone software (shoretel call manager) prior to its configuration. That is my only guess. Can't confirm until I rebuild another laptop.
