You may need to speak to the ISP as well if they have anything special being used. But this is a security related issue so look at what is different on this unit as apposed to the others.Col 0Votes Share Flag Collapse - Not a Security Issue by Sawan Gupta · 9 years ago In reply to Look at the Security Sett ... It doesn't seems like a security issue, since I am able to use other machine to connect to network using the same hardware, logon credentials.Still I talked with ISP, they said check with your hardware vendor. And Hardware vendor was unable to determine any problem with drivers or hardware. And he suggested the unwanted method of format and reinstallation which I don't want to do. 0Votes Share Flag Collapse - When I said Security Settings I meant Local Settings by OH Smeg · 9 years ago In reply to Not a Security Issue Not

Then uninstall them then reboot and reinstall the drivers for that and done. 0 star98m 6 Years Ago I hunted for months for a solution to this problem RAS error code 720. I have a Thinkpad T60 and about six months ago was suddenly unable to use my Vodafone Vodem so I tried my old Vodafone card modem and it wouldn't work either. Even tried my Sony phone with a cable and it wouldn't work. When I've travelled for the last six months I have had to take my old T42 with me and all the modems work fine with that laptop. I have tried many solutions to this and wasted countless hours. Today I finally found a tiny free program called rarepair.exe - do a search and you can easily find it but I got it from here http://forums.practicallynetworked.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=131 Click on it and it removes all your network drivers, reboots your machine, reinstalls the drivers and then does a second reboot. Everything was restored perfectly. I would have paid serious money for this as it has saved me from doing a fresh XP install which would have taken weeks to get everything reinstalled.
