Verizon Wireless card PC5740 that has worked for the past year in my IBM - T60 with win XP Pro. Last weekend the wireless, Lan, and The Verizon card quit working. I deleted the wireless and Lan from device manager and the computer reinstalled them, and they both work. The verizon gives error 720. The modem was replaced by Verizon after their Tech support failed to correct he problem. I

I would try uninstalling everything in the device manager associated with the Verizon card. If that does not work, click the link below and run that program. I tried the winsock fix, uninstalled IBM Acess connections, deleted all devices, restarted and it still will not connect. I took the machine to a local computerstore and a tech spent an hour and told me all the settings seemed OK. He suggested a reformat of the hard drive.
