I'm using windows 8 and standard ptpp VPN. Every VPN I have created though results in the same error: Error 720: A connection to the remote computer could not be established You might need to change the network settings for this connection The VPN works in Windows 7 and XP. I'm not sure if this has something vpn error 720 to do with my new laptop or if its something with Windows 8 itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if there is any extra info I can provide please let me know. If you are getting this error, follow the below mentioned steps to solve this issue. Procedure 1: Reset TCP IP Protocol Step 1: Try resetting TCP IP protocol by entering following command in Command Prompt netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt Step 2: Now reboot your system and reconnect Ivacy VPN. If it does not solve problem, then try the next procedure. Procedure 2: Reset Network Step 1: Open Control Panel, then open Add Remove Programs and go to Windows components. Uncheck networking. Step 2: Now restart your computer. Step 3: Repeat step 1 and check networking Step 4: Open “Command” window by typing ‘cmd’ in “Run”.
