Networking Question 1 Sign in to vote I'm trying to connect to my universties vpn which uses error 734 ppp link control protocol was terminated windows 8 pptp, but everything i try comes up with Error 734: The PPP Link Control Protocol Was Terminated. This error is the result of having Multi-link negotiation turned on for a single-link connection, or having the dial-up connection security configuration improperly configured to the Require secured password option. To fix the problem: 01. Start / Settings / Network and Dial-up Connections. 02. Right-click the failing dial-up connection and press Properties. 03. Select the Networking tab. 04.
