(multiple times) If that has happened entering the control panel > systerm > device manager, and having a look at the modem to ensure there is only one listed and showing that it indicates the device is working properly. Then have a look in control panel > system > modems applet and there should be something in that applet along the lines of diagnostics. If things don't look correct delete all the modem items in the device manager and rebooting sh

If you are still getting the error code 777 with remote computer out of order message even after following all the steps mentioned in this article, the issue might be at ISP end. I recommend you to contact technical support of your ISP to resolve the issue. 5:24 AM Anonymous said... got to setting --> open network setting there change "Tata Whiz" to Tata photon :)Enjoy!!_ Funnyz India 3:50 AM RAHUL YEOLE said... I am very fond of my E815 and have no issues with Alltel and very much want to tether to my MacBook for mobile Internet accesses. After spending 20 hours over the last few days on this I've still not been able to get it to work. I've tried to clearly note my efforts below in the hopes that someone will be able to spot the error 777 issue and advise me on how to get this working. Please read below and advise. There is nothing happening on the cell phone display though. After 10 or 15 seconds I get an error message on the MacBook A modem error occurred. Please verify your setting and try again.
