(5 years, never had windows update?) Hi, I have been given a teachers laptop to set up some software for her so she can work from home. However, I was having errors show up when I was installing MS Office 2010. So, My first thought was to take a look a windows update, and it says that it has NEVER had any updates installed. Even if i go onto update history, it opnly shows 1 updtae, and that was me installing latest definitions for MS security essentials. (mainly those from 2010/2011 as i assuming its gonna somethnig thats always been on the laptop because its never updated) but the issue is continuing... Ive tried doing updates from somewhere not-in-school so its not behind a proxy, but no luck Any ideas for what I should try? Last edited by Zezima; 14th May 2015 at 09:42 AM.
