When attempting to sync to my corporate Exchange Server, I get an error that says "There was a problem syncing messages. Server certificate domain does not match server. Contact your administrator if this error persists." The details of the error list the error code of AirSAMStateMachine.c 530 4670. I have contacted my IT department they couldn't help me. Their recommendation was to purchase a new phone equipped with Windows Mobile Software. How do I solve this error? For example, if you put “myexchangesrvr.com” as your mail server, but the SSL certificate has something else, then the SSL connection will be rejected. Either IT has misconfigured the SSL certificate on the server; probably by using a commercial certificate on a different machine than the one it was produced for.... Or, it's a self-signed cert that IT created itself, and used a wildcard in... for further replies. claraf Clara Messages: 5 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 1 We have one TX palm in our office that, when one tries to synchronize the email & calendar (using Veramail) by wife through our exchange 2003 MS server the error message "AirSAMStateMachine.c453 4626" appears. None of our other palms in the office are having this problem. I have look up the error message online and cannot find a cause, though it does seem to happen to other. I know that the settings to get to the wi-fi through the exchange 2003 MS server are correct (the palm has no problem attaching to the internet through the exchange 2003 MS server). Also, that the setting for the email (password & login) are correct.
