I have a custom computer which I use for a lot of my gaming, it was very expensive and I have been updating it ever since 2010. Just recently (1 months 3 weeks ago) I have encountered a problem with my pc starting up. I downloaded this game called Slender. Don't ask why. Even I don't know why I did it. I downloaded the game from a RAR file error at I had found. (Not from the original makers website which is what I should of done.) After downloading and installing the game my pc had instantly started to go very slow, and I mean VERY SLOW. So I shut it down then restarted it. On the restart I found that I had to do a System Repair (recommended) so I did it. When my pc had finally reached the repair screen an error displayed in the centre reading: "The file or directory D:\Windows\system32\csrss.exe is corrupted and error at startup unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility." And to be perfectly honest my face went blank. I literally had no idea what this meant. Yes I have a expensive gaming computer and been using pc for a long time now but I had no idea what either the csrss.exe or Chkdsk utility is. I then click the "Okay" button and my pc begins the repair process. This repair took me around 24 hours and in the end all I received was another big fat window reading the same error. I have done this repair several times with no success and I am wondering if anyone knows the problem and even the solution? I am very limited to what I know about computers so please talk in a language I would understand.
