I have found a functioin in the link exchange e.g., ploterr(x,y,errx, erry) but I believe this only https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/newsreader/view_thread/244739 works for one set of data. I have tested ploterr(x,y,errx,erry,x1,y1,errx1,erry1) with no luck. does any one know how to get around this issue? Thanks in advanced. Search for "plt" in the file exchange. This function will allow you to plot as many functions as you want in one figure. There are many example scripts, but I suggest you try "demo\pltvbar.m" which plots several functions on a single axis, two of which are error bars and the other functions are of various types (continuous, vertical bars, etc.) Looking at this script, it will be obvious how to create the error b

If you just want the error bars and not lines between them, give it a plot format that only plots points, like r.: bar([a,b,c]); hold on errorbar([a,b,c],[std_a,std_b,std_c],'r.'); share|improve this answer answered Sep 16 '14 at 12:26 nkjt 7,33251528 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
