To view the error logs, Log in to the ServiceDesk Plus application using your user name and password. If you have the permissions to view the support information, you will see a Support tab in the header. Click the Support tab in the header pane. Click the System Log Viewer link available in the Support page. To view the individual error details, In the Error Log list view page, click the hyper linked Error Message. An error log window with https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/241111 the details of the error is opened. The Error Message field contains the complete error message. The Module field indicates the module in which the error occurred. The Occurred At field indicates the date and time when the error occurred. If the probable cause of the error is known, then the cause is displayed in the Probable Cause field. The Performed By field https://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/help/adminguide/general-features/diagnostics-error-logs.html indicates the origin of the error. For example, if it is a system-generated error, then the Performed By field contains System as its value. Click Close after viewing the details of the error message. None of these fields are editable. You can also search for a specific error log details with the help of the Search in feature. To search for error logs, In the left menu, the search block is found at the bottom. If you are in the Error Log list view page, then by default, the System Log option is chosen in the Search in combo box. If not, then choose System Log. In the Enter Keyword text field, enter the search string. Press Enter on your keyboard or click Go. The search results will display all the error logs that match the search string. Click the error log of your choice to view the same. You can delete these error logs. To delete individual error logs In the Error Log list view, select check boxes beside the Error Messages that you wish to delete. Click Delete. This log is very useful for troubleshooting Apache issues on the server side. Apache Log Tip: If you are monitoring errors or testing your server, you can use the command line to interactively watch log entries. Open a shell session and type "tail ?f /path/to/error_log" . This will show you the last few entries in the file and also continue to show new entries as they occur. There are no real customization options availab
