Removing the error log in your Plesk interface can allow you to start your logs fresh. Plesk keeps a running log of all user activity and site errors tucked away on the server. These files can only be accessed using the shell terminal. You can log into the terminal and manually delete the logs to start a fresh log. Log into Plesk. Scroll down and left click on the SSH Terminal. This will open the terminal in the browser window. Enter your FTP password and click OK. Type in "cd /usr/local/psa/admin/logs" then "dir" then locate the file name of the error log and write it down. It will be slightly different for each version of Plesk. Type "rm filename.txt," but replace filename.txt with the name of the error log. This will remove the error log from the server. Tips & Warnings If you cannot access the terminal, you may need to petition your administrator to give you SSH access on your account. Be very careful when executing commands from the terminal. You can cause serious problems if you use the improper command. You must have Java enabled to be able to view the terminal screen.
