the user does not need to know the syntax as common operators are provided as buttons, similar to a scientific calculator. -Evaluate expressions with as much as 26 different variable and error pairs. -Copy output to the system

All calculations are dependent on the uncertainties package (Uncertainties: a Python package for calculations with uncertainties, Eric O. I had been using the excellent error_calc produced by Prof. Huber at Gustavus Adolphus College, but this one is only for Windows and iPad/iPhone. I was looking for such a calculator that could run on Linux as well as Windows. Of course, one could simply use the command line in pyth

(or for those of you that are actual scientists even...!). Propagation of uncertainty is a really slick formula, but its a massive pain to do by hand. this function does it for you! To do it, just enter in the symbolic function, a row https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/17901-propagation-of-uncertainty vector of the variables, a row vector for the estimated values of those variables, and lastly a row vector of the uncertainty associated with those variables. help PropError has an example in it. Enjoy! outputs both actual error, and the percent error. The program follows the equation shown in the screenshot. (courtesy of Wikipedia). Requires Symbolic Math Toolbox. Is it possible with PropError? This is done so the error propagations are done almost simultaneously with the main calculation. There is a bit of background for this that I can't discuss here.I have developed a way to do this for experimental measurements and calculationsin LabVIEW. I think my approach is new and uses a new data type. I have proposed to LabV
