The error comes from the RFC layer. I suppose you do not get a connection with a SAPGui either, maybe you could check this. There are a few ports involved when connecting to a SAP system with JCo / RFC. See http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/42/db8c45e873162ee10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm for a list of ports used by the SAP server. JCo usually needs to access dispatcher, gateway and message server. I.e., if the system number of your SAP system is '00', make sure ports 3200, 3300 and 3600 are not bloc
