It seems to work fine with CIFS, but when trying to share a folder on this volume with NFS, I receive this error: "Error writing share data ioctl to nfs mount driver, error = 0x00000032"Google reveals a few other people have had the same problem but no solutions were posted. Ideas anyone? I'm worried that NFS shares + mounted volumes are a no go. Linux and Unix machines are capable of seeing CIFS using Netbios over SMB or Netbios over TCP. http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/article/8315/setting_up_an_nfs_share 0 LVL 4 Overall: Level 4 Message Author Comment by:AndrewW52009-09-08 The NFS share is required by a Solaris system; according to the vendor, this is the only way to do it.
