tried any or none of the following to alleviate the problem: EDIT: Run the program as administrator by right-clicking and choosing "Run as administrator". The program still shows the same teamviewer error writing temporary file error message. Copy the installer to your desktop after which the program is setup correctly. Enable User Account Control, allow the installer to make changes to your computer and the program is setup correctly. Backup your data, format the partition the executable resides in, restore the data and lo and behold, the program is setup correctly. The fact that you get that specific error can actually mean error writing temp that the installer runs with really limited user rights and the installer doesn't even have the right to write in the temp folder. If you have rights on your own computer install it on there and copy the CCleaner folder to a USB flash drive and run it from there on any computer you want too. I do that ay work because they won't install it anymore. If you want to use the same settings as your computer then use the Options\Advanced - Save all settings to INI file.
