I believe I have it configured correctly and it starts up fine. I go into the GUI for my CISCO switch and try to to save the running-config to my TFTP server (laptop), I get the following error from the GUI:[ERROR] copy /noconfirm running-config tftp://192.168.10.45/C:\TFTP Cryptochecksum: 03cf6e50 7a818788 6e0a5227 f983df7d !!!!!%Error writing tftp://192.168.10.45/C:\TFTP (Timed out attempting to connect)And the following displays on my TFTP server window:, binary, PUT. to download IOS from 2620 and 2610 router to my tftp and ftp server. For TFTP, make error writing tftp sure the file already exists and has write permission. The nature of the path vary by TFTP server, but it is generally relative to the set TFTP root directory. (What TFTP server) Make sure the TFTP server has write permissions (SolarWinds has a checkbox for that) and that the file has world-write permissions (Unix). Also, the whole dialog of the failure may be hellpful. Make sure you are copying from the right source location. Also be sure that TFTP or FTP serevr don't have IP address restrictions. Cisco 2600 router> Windows XP running FTP I'm familiar with routers and computers however little experience with FTP. I downloaded and installed Filezilla and it's running. I manually set the ip address of router and computer and they can ping between each other. I disabled the firewall thinking that could be the problem. and still can't figure it out.
