I get: There were errors burning your audio cd disc. Error message:Error writing to disc. Additional Error Info: Sense data: 04 09 00. This program worked awesome as a trial and then right after I bought it it started doing this. Yes I downloaded a so called fix...that didn't help. I'd appreciate any help someone can give me. moooosie@telus.net Back to top #5 Moosie Moosie Novice Members 3 posts Posted 24 June 2011 - 05:30 PM N.C.H a.n, on 16 February 2009 - 02:49 AM

For most of that time I have been using Express burn. Lately however, I have been getting the following error whenever I try to burn a DVD: Error with write address Source file sense data: 05 21 02 I am running windows 10 on my Dell laptop. I need to know if: 1- I should get http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/11035-sense-data-05-30-05/ a new DVD burner or 2 - I should try another burner program There doesn't seen to be any firmware update for the Pioneer. As always, I use Memorex DVD-R discs Thanks, Greg Back to top #2 Chris75 Chris75 Memeber Support 198 posts Posted 20 November 2015 - 04:28 PM Hello Greg, Supposedly this issue may happen when there is a mismatch between your disc drive and the data rate itself. To resolve this issue try burning the disc at a lower speed if http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?/topic/23057-sense-data-05-21-02/ you are using the Max, or to a higher speed if you are using the lowest. Back to top #3 mindjob mindjob Novice Members 9 posts Posted 21 November 2015 - 10:32 PM Hi Chris So the default speed is the max, which is 16x. I lowered the burn speed to 12x and got a different error: unknown scsi access error sense data 02 04 07 The I tried Aimersoft DVD and it asked me to insert a writeable disc, like it didn't recognize something in the Pioneer. Is it time just to get a new DVD burner? The issues you are reporting seem to be related to the DVD drive itself. I installed it on my computer and I create a project, but when I go to burn... it says that I need to insert a blank CD. The problem is I've done this already and it keeps ejecting error writing the CD saying there is no blank CD in the drive. I originally thought that maybe the CD Drive was malfunctioning, but when I click on My Computer and look at the CD Drives' properties, it reads that I have a blank CD in the drive. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall, and update the driver for the hardware and that has not solved my problems. Any help would be much appreciated. error writing to sound_of_fury, Apr 10, 2009 #1 Sponsor abhi_12345 Joined: Mar 25, 2009 Messages: 7 You shud try NCH Express burn just follow the given link: http://www.nch.com.au/burn/burnsetup.exe abhi_12345, Apr 11, 2009 #2 sound_of_fury Thread Starter Joined: Apr 10, 2009 Messages: 2 I do appreciate the help... however this did not solve the problem... Was there another burning program on there and did you uninstall it before installing Roxio? Rich-M, Apr 11, 2009 #4 Elvandil Joined: Aug 1, 2003 Messages: 51,988 I agree with Rich-M. Though I now have 5 or 6 installed burning programs (and some virtualized to avoid driver conflicts), Roxio was one that I could not use because it conflicted with so many other programs (and its own image since the XP and Vista burning engines are also made by Roxio).
