This discussion is locked portcharles19 Level 1 (0 points) Q: Cannot install iTunes I am trying to install iTunes on my new laptop with Windows 7 and I keep getting this message:"Error writing to file: C:\Program Files(x86)\iTunes\Mozilla Plugins\npitunes.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory."I went to that folder and it is empty, I am logged in as an Administrator, I right clicked the download icon and ran it as an administrator, and I am using the 64-bit version because the 32 would not even begin to install. I am usually good with computers but I just don't have any clue what this means or how to fix it. I just was iTunes. Please help. Right-click the \Mozilla Plugins\ directory and select "Properties". Go into the "Security" tab and select the name of your user account. Do you have full control on the directory?
