I have been on dial up and just tried to update to dsl. when I walked thru the instructions I could not get the usb light to come on on the modem. the usb cable would not lock tightly into the moden so I bought another usb cable but still would not come on. It now appears that my usb ports are not working as I can't even get my digital camera to upload nor can I get my printer to print. I get an error message" error writing to usboo1 for the printer problem printing to the port. Could I have damaged the usb port by trying to upgrade to dsl?
