Hopefully the problem https://en.discussions.tomtom.com/xl-xxl-home-23/why-will-my-tomtom-not-open-100057 can be repaired with the following steps. The first thing to do is to try to backup the gps. Here is a link to do that. Note, if you had made a backup of the gps recently you can skip this step. http://www.tomtomforums.com/general-tomtom-discussion/17864-how-backup-contents-your-unit-computer.html Next follow the instructions in this link Which will have you copy files from the device into Home and then then have you format the flash memory and then reinstall the files back to the gps. http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/minor_detail/a_id/13295/ like this 1 Jump to top View mobile version English Deutsch Francais Powered by Insided Drive Car Motorcycle Camper and Caravan Truck Accessories Maps and Services MyDrive Outlet Routes and Traffic TomTom Route Planner Live Traffic Report a map change Sports Running Multi-Sport Golf Accessories MySports Business Automotive Bridge Built-in navigation Places Telematics Support TomTom HOME Get Started Stay up to date Troubleshooting User guides Glossary Discussions forum Contact us Orders Warranty 30 day money back guarantee About Company information Press Centre Investor relations TomTom Careers Contact us Legal Privacy Policy Legal Information Terms & Conditions Using your
