Extract Error Writing To File Windows

The only button on the error message is OK. I press that

and the installation does not continue, and remains at that file until I press Cancel. I tried to install to a network drive Q:\Global Share\Install\OpenOffice\ and got the error message for "th_en_US_v2.dat." Figuring the path was too long, I then tried installing to G:\OpenOffice\ (another network drive) and got it for "off-office_l.ott." Finally, just tried to d:\oo\ (local drive) and got the message for "pri-mail_l.ott." Repeating the installation to the above locations gives the same error message, depending on

G: and Q: above are NTFS network drives; D: is a local Fat32 partition (internal fixed drive). Any suggestions? I get it for both 2.4.1 and the 3.0beta. And it's a different file for each different location that it hangs on. Any ideas? Install or running of the app dies because the path to a file is too long. If you are installing much deeper than X:\PortableApps\, you may run into that issu
