Now My bios detects it as a CD-Drive(I think I remember it detecting it as a dvd drive.) not sure WIndows Detects it http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?70922-DVD-burner-Problems as a DVD-RW..which is good.Was able to burn a data disc using just windows vista. Also when I use Nero or PowerISO to burn a DVD it stop before it starts burning and give me and error. Last night Installed Vista Ultimate and still same problem..Except now I can burn with windows but I need to use a burner program to make a bootable disc. UPDATE: I forgot to add that I originally had this problem with my samsung dvd lightscribe burner and got a new liteon burner yesturay but still am having the same problem.
