Everything was working until it started burning the file. I then got the following

error: 14:43:24 Error writing data. (439-00000140 99049b5c) Does anybody know what I need to do to fix this error? Please help. Sorry to hear of the difficulty you are having in burning the .iso I am assuming that you have checked that your CD/DVD burner Drive is working Ok and that you are using a new, fresh from the box,unused unscratched disc...... and that the iso is undamaged.....if you downloaded it then try again and compare the checksums to make sure they are the same! if all is Ok then: This is the recommended action to take: 1 Dowload ImgBurn from the following link: http://www.imgburn.c...hp?act=download 2 Install it, (it is a very small application and is of good repute (and free) 3 Use ImgBurn to burn your .iso Post back and let us know how you get on. Now My bios detects it as a CD-Drive(I think I remember it detecting it as a dvd drive.) not sure WIndows Detects it as a DVD-RW..which is good.Was able to burn a data disc using just windows vista. Also when I use Nero or PowerISO to burn a DVD it stop before it starts burning and give me and error. PowerISO error:Error writing data(439-00000000 9a059b5c) Ive been haivng this problem for a while and cant firgure it out. Ive Reinstalled CP pro sp3 then nothing. Last night Installed Vista Ultimate and still same problem..Except now I can burn with windows but I need to use a burner program to make a bootable disc. UPDATE: I forgot to add that I originally had this problem with my samsung dvd lightscribe burner and got a new liteon burner yesturay but still am having the same problem. Bármilyen ISO, vagy ehhez hasonló fájlt töltök le, sem a Nero, sem az Alcohol120%, sem az Imgburn nem tudja kiírni DVD-re. Nem feltétlen hibás a dvd iród...Lehetséges hogy a dvd amit megírni próbálsz az teszem azt DVD-R és azt nem támogatja a DVD iró csak a +R-t. Ha a támogatottak között van akkor érdemes lenne tesztelni a DVD irót mert lehet hogy abban van a hiba. Szoftveresen nem hiszem hogy hiba lenne. Maximum annyit tudok elképzelni hogy nagyob a lemezkép nagysága mint 4.7 GB. remélem használható a válasz. üdvA válasz 100%-ban hasznosnak tűnik. Így pl. az ISO és az AVI kiterjesztésűeket nem, mert ezek egy tömörített változata filmnek, így pl. a nagysága (size) is lényegesen kisebb. De már vannak olyan lejátszók, amelyek az AVI-t is lejászák. Az ISO fájlt először ki kell "csomagolni" erre vannak különböző programok, ilyen a PowerISO, és a IsoBuster. ezekkel a progikkal kicsomagolhatod a ISO fájlodat.
