These error codes indicate that the Line (Telephone line) reception quality is very poor that the machine couldn't print/receive the full page fax. If i am right, this happens only with a particular number or if you are sending, your line's the problem. Try it after a while and if possible when you think the line's not so busy and improved. You can also try disabling the ECM (Error Correction Mode) by following the steps below: Press the < or > button until the front display reads "Fax Setup". Press the ENTER/MENU button. Press the < or > button until the front display reads "All Faxes". Press the ENTER/MENU button. Press the < or > button until the front display reads "Error Correction". Press the ENTER/MENU button. Press the < or > button until the font display reads "Off" and then press the ENTER/MENU button to save the setting. (Off disables ECM and On enables ECM). Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa. Solution: Adjust the NL equalizer so the other party can fax error receive the phase signal properly. ##002 [ RX ] Picture memory full upon G2 reception. A. Cause: Defective buffer memory. Solution: Replace the SCNT PWB. ##003 [ TX ] Failed MCF2/ PIS reception during G2 transmission. A. Cause: Other party cannot properly receive signals due to poor line conditions. Solution: Boost the transmission level so the other party can receive MCF2 or PIS. Solution: Adjust the NL hp fax error equalizer so the other party can receive MCF2 or PIS signals properly. ##004 [ RX ] Fail EOM/ PIS reception during G2 reception. A. Cause: Other party confused by echo and does not send G12. Solution: Have the other party lower their transmission level so they will not receive echo signals. ##006 [ RX ] Failed phase synchronization from second sheet during G2 reception. A. Cause: Other party cannot properly receive phase signal due to poor line conditions. Solution: Have the other party boost their transmission level to allow for proper phase signal reception.
