Ptgui Tutorial 360
Yong December 24, 2009 4:44pm UTC COMSOL keeps closing Hi I have an urgent problem concerning COMSOL. I am using modes such as "weakly-compressible navier stokes" and PDE modes, and I realise for some models I cannot open; the COMSOL
Ptgui Manual
will load and then close by itself. For other models, when I click on the meshing button to see the meshing elements, the COMSOL also closes by itself. Each time, after closing, a new file will appear in the folder where the comsol file is in, always named "hs_error_xxxxx" I understand that this is a problem involving Java, and I have reinstalled the latest Java updates, as well as uninstalling the Java updates, but both methods failed to resolve ptgui software free download this problem. Is there anyone who has encountered this and knows how to resolve it? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Stan Report Abuse R. F. Hamou December 24, 2009 5:52pm UTC in response to Stanley Yong Re: COMSOL keeps closing Hi, What is your OS??and what about the memory used? What is written in the error file? I wonder if this crash is limited only for the mentioned files and modes or it is not working for all the models? Cheers Report Abuse Stanley Yong December 26, 2009 6:44am UTC in response to R. F. Hamou Re: COMSOL keeps closing Hi Thanks for the reply. I get an error message that indicates the problem lies with Java. But Java did not reply to any of my messages. I am using Windows 7. Currently I am doing simulation involving fuel cells, which means I use Weakly COmpressible Navier Stokes mode, or PDE mode that incorporates Navier Stokes and / or Darcy's Law. Meshing is required to solve because it uses finite element method. It crashes most of the time when I click on the "mesh" button that reveals the meshing density in the models. It is extremely annoying. Once in a while it will not crash but 7 out of 10 times it crashes, and a new error file appears, named in the following form: hs_err_pidxxxxxx A sample error message is as follows: # #
GB GPU memory on AMD cards under Windows'. It turned out this was causing problems on certain older AMD GPU drivers, resulting in empty images being

created. If you have an AMD card with more than 2 GB RAM ptgui free download full version please see FAQ Q7.4. Version 10.0.14 (5 January 2016) Fix: A bug was introduced in PTGui 10.0.13 which caused ptgui download numbers to be always displayed with a point (.) as decimal separator. With this update PTGui will use the decimal separator as configured in the operating system (as was the case prior http://www.comsol.com/community/forums/general/thread/2318/ to v10.0.13). PTGui can now use more than 2 GB GPU memory on AMD cards under Windows. Previously this required setting an environment variable. For NVIDIA cards using more than 2GB was already supported. Version 10.0.13 (29 October 2015) GPU accelerated stitching no longer works under OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) on NVIDIA GPUs. Unfortunately we have not been able to fix this yet as https://www.ptgui.com/versionhistory.html it appears to be caused by driver bugs in OS X. Until the issue is fixed PTGui by default now disables GPU acceleration on affected machines. It's possible to override this in Preferences - Advanced.Note that GPU acceleration with AMD GPUs is not affected, and NVIDIA cards under Windows work fine. dcraw has been updated to version 9.26, supporting raw files of more recent cameras A custom dcraw executable can be configured in Options / Preferences - Plugins Fix: Mac: tool bar icons would be garbled on some Macs running OS X 10.11 Fix: Mac: Help button in the Panorama Editor window would open the wrong help page Fix: .cr2 images could be loaded in the wrong orientation. This cause the batch stitcher to abort stitching with "Error: The dimensions of this image are different from the image dimensions recorded in the project file. Please reload the project and stitch again." Fix: Remapping a large image (500 megapixels or more) could result in an error 'Assertion Failed: neededsweepbuffersize < 0x80000000l' Fix: Mac: PTGui would ignore any custom settings saved by File - Make Default when dropping files on the PTGui do

Almost certainly on this page or on our purchase page... You may also be interested in our license page... How do your license agreements work? You can find out about licensing on our license page... Why doesn't my license key work? Probably because the license key is not for the product you are using. You will have been issued a license key via email. Check the product and version referenced in the email and ensure that these match up with the product and version you are using. It is not uncommon for purchasing departments to get confused between different versions of a product. So you may have asked your purchasing department to buy ImageGlue ASP but they may have purchased ImageGlue .NET instead. How do I claim a refund under your 30-day money back guarantee? Provided you purchase direct from us, there is an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee on all our products. If you accidentally purchase the wrong product you can apply for a refund under our 30-day money back guarantee. You may wish to wait for the refund to be issued before placing an order for the correct product or if time is critical you may wish to place another order before applying for your refund. For a refund we need a fax on headed notepaper from the person who was issued the license stating the order reference number (or license key) and that a refund is required. The fax needs to state that all records of the license key have been destroyed and that any physical deliverable has or will be destroyed. This assurance needs to be current - not something which will be done in the future. Fax numbers can be found on our About Us page (in the "Contact" section). Our money back guarantee is valid for 30 days only. Confirmation of destruction must be received within this period for a refund to be given. I've lost my license key and receipt.
