If I try to program either a Atmel 90S2313 or a ATtiny2313 (no others tested) I get an error message from PonyProg "Device missing or unknown device (-24)". All settings, cables, uC's, COM port are ok. All works fine with both controlers on my HP Vectra VL420 (1,7GMHz Pentium 4). Using exactly the same equipment on a newer HP Compaq dc700 (3,4GHz Pentium D) always appears the a.m. error. I don't think that's any problem of the external HW, but a problem of the OS (WinXP Prof SP3) or the PC. Does anybody have any idea what to try to get that work ? However, now when I try to connect it with Ponyprog, I get a error message as "bus busy or hardware error [-11]". All the connections are intact and everything looks fine. I have also done the ponyprog error 13 calibration and COM1 has been detected and the "Test OK" msg was displayed. I had formatted my system and reinstalled ponyprog today. Not sure what has gone wrong. Can someone help me with this please?Cheers,Praveen « Last Edit: March 18, 2010, 12:26:32 PM by praveen_khm » Logged Robot building is all about sharing and learning-------------------------------------------www.robotplatform.com : Beginners guide to Electronics & Robotics dellagd Contest Winner Supreme Robot Posts: 731 Helpful? 5 Come to the dark side...
