Your "time", "Time Zone" and or "Region" on your Mac, and or Icloud are out of sync (set differently). In my case, it was the region was set to cusotm verus United States. On your MAC click on the time, go to time date preferences. Click SHOW ALL, then go to LANGUAGE & TEXT, then REGION. Make sure it is set to your region and the right TIME ZONE. Then do like for Icloud. It fixed my issue and I hope this helps you too, becuase now I can send and recieve calendar invites that actually go to the right place on my calendar! HOPE THIS HELPS! by Ben Rimes For regular readers of my blog (all six of you), it may seem gmail not syncing with iphone 6 odd that my posts oscillate between "super happy and helpful" and more snarky and pessimistic rants about the current state of ed tech. can't add google account to iphone I apologize for the confusion, but in my defense it is my blog, and I'm not trying to appease any advertisers or demographics (at least not for a long while). That having been said, here's a post that https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4165985?start=30 wraps both of my moods up into one video. I really dislike an over-crowded Calendar. I understand the need to be able to see all of the Google Calendars within my district's Google Apps for Education Domain. There are times when I need to check on a computer cart in a particular building. There are times when I need to coordinate a meeting with a busy colleague, and see her calendar helps. But I don't want http://www.techsavvyed.net/archives/3547 to see all of those calendars on my mobile device, or the Calendar app on my Macbook, both of which I use frequently to schedule meetings. I know what you're saying. Ben, you can simply "uncheck" those calendars on your device so that you can't see them anymore. The problem is, when you uncheck those calendars, they're still there. You can't see them anymore, but any reminders or notification alerts that were attached to the events still flood my notifications list on my Mac and my phone. When you've got more than a dozen extra calendars that have been delegated to you, it's rather annoying. So I put together a quick video to completely remove the extra calendars from being pushed out to your iOS devices and Mac, but still have access to them via the web and Google Apps. If you want the short version, just head over to Google Calendar's Sync Select page (https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect), login to your Google Account, and get unchecking! If you're in a role similar to mine, working in an Apple-heavy environment, and would like to have at least one restful device that you can access just your own calendar without all of the others, I hope this helps. Here's the not syncing with fix! By Allyson Kazmucha Monday, May 18, 2015 at 8:00 am EDT 8 Comments Having problems getting Google Calendars to show up in the Calendars app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac? If you accepted an invitation from someone to share a Google calendar but aren't seeing it on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac; it could be due to your Google Sync settings. Google turns sync off by default for new calendars, particularly shared ones. It's frustrating, and it's why you can't immediately see them on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac even when you can see them online. Luckily it's also simple to fix — once you know how! How to get shared Google Calendars to show up on iPhone, iPad, and Mac Launch Safari or any other web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect. Sign in (if you aren't already). Under Shared Calendars, make sure all the boxes are checked for the calendars you want to see on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It can take a few minutes for the calendars to appear. If you're still having problems, let me know in the comments below or leave a question in our ask a question forum! Like us! Within your calendar app (on the Mac or on iOS) you can always choose which calendar(s) to show, but when dealing with Google calendar, your other calendars will only appear if they have been enabled. (If you use Gmail over IMAP you may have gone through the process of choosing which labels appear as IMAP folders. The process of enabling CalDAV support for your calendars is something like that.) The biggest enemy that you will have in getting this to work is previous experience with syncing Google and iOS devices, especially because Google has been fairly sloppy with its instructions, all of which led me on a not-very-fun technological wild goose chase tonight. For more on those details, and what to watch out for, keep reading. (Spoiler alert: I've already given away the ending.) Even Google can't keep the instructions straight For as long as I can remember, Google Calendar on iPad or iPhone/iPod touch devices has had this annoying "quirk" - if you have more than one calendar, you have to go to a web page on Goog
