I've tried manually installing with the /i feature when executing the installer but no luck. I've removed registry settings and even tried the Microsoft Fix It that deals with problems with installing and uninstalling software but no luck. Why it is not working on a few machines I'm just not understanding, especially when we removed them all in the same fashion. There is one Windows 7 machine and around 5-20 Windows XP machines so far that this is doing this on. Re-imaging is not really a solution as some computers being affected are office and administrative computers. Any assista

Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now It seems I have a corrupted installation of chrome on my hands on Windows Server 2008 R2. At some point, antivirus software flagged some of chrome's files as false positives, and removed parts of it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. So, I tried revo uninstaller, but it didn't find it. I tried CCleaner's program and registry cleaner features, but no luck there either. So, I manually removed the program files folder appdata folders for chrome. Still no luck. Normally, I would try the Microsoft Fixit tool, but it doesn't run on server operating systems. Any ideas?
